The Cagiva E750 Elefant was a motorcycle produced in 1996-97. It had a four-stroke, 90-degree L twin-cylinder engine, with a 748cc capacity and Mikuni BDST 38 fuel injection induction. It had a maximum power of 60 hp at 6000 rpm and a maximum torque of 60 Nm at 5500 rpm. The transmission was a five-speed and it had a chain final drive. The front suspension was 45mm telescopic forks and the rear suspension was a single shock with rising rate linkage preload rebound and damping. The brakes were single 296mm and 240mm discs with two-piston calipers for both front and rear. The tires were 100/90-19 in the front and 140/80-17 in the rear with a seat height of 835mm. The bike weighed 185kg and had a fuel capacity of 24 litres. It had an average consumption of 16.4 km/lit and braking distances of 15.4m and 44.8m for 60-0 and 100-0 respectively. The standing quarter-mile time was 12.9 seconds with a top speed of 174 km/h.
