BSA A65 Firebird Scrambler (1968-71)

The BSA A65 Firebird Scrambler and Firebird SS were produced between 1968 and 1971. These motorcycles had a four-stroke, parallel twin, OHV engine with a capacity of 654 cc and a bore and stroke ratio of 75 x 74 mm. The bike also featured twin Amal monobloc 389/67 carburetors, high-level chrome exhaust, and twin coil Lucas 4CA ignition. The starting was done with kick start and the bike had a two 12V, 10 a.h. Lucas RM19 battery. The bike had a maximum power of 38 hp at 5800 rpm in 1968 and 49 hp at 7000 rpm in 1970.
