BMW R1150RT (2001-02)

The BMW R1150RT is a touring motorcycle that was introduced in 2001 and continued production until 2002. The bike is powered by a horizontally opposed, fuel-injected 1130cc engine that produces 95 horsepower and 72 lb-ft of torque. It features a six-speed transmission with a shaft drive and has a dry weight of 568 pounds.

The R1150RT comes standard with several features that are common on touring motorcycles, including a full fairing, adjustable windscreen, and integrated panniers. It also has a heated seat, heated grips, and an on-board computer that displays fuel consumption, outside temperature, and more.

In terms of handling, the R1150RT is known for its stability and predictable handling. It has a tele-lever front suspension and the “paralever” rear suspension, which provides good shock absorption. The braking system consists of dual disc brakes in the front and a single disc brake in the rear, which provides ample stopping power.
