BMW R1100RT (1999-2000)

The BMW R1100RT motorcycle was introduced in 1996 with a new eight-valve engine and remained virtually unchanged for the next five years. It was designed as a tourer, with comfortable seating positions, a large windshield, and side panniers.

The R1100RT was powered by a 1,085cc air and oil-cooled, horizontally-opposed two-cylinder engine that delivered 90 horsepower and 65 lb-ft of torque. The bike had a five-speed transmission and shaft drive, which required little maintenance.

The BMW R1100RT featured a Telelever front suspension, which improved handling and stability, and a Paralever rear suspension that kept the bike stable even when cornering at high speeds. The ABS brakes provided excellent stopping power and were a valuable safety feature.

The instrument cluster on the R1100RT included a fuel gauge, a clock, and a temperature gauge. The bike also had a power socket for charging mobile devices.

Overall, the BMW R1100RT was a reliable and comfortable touring motorcycle, perfect for long-distance rides. Its high build quality and low maintenance costs make it a desirable used bike on the market.
