BMW R Nine T Racer (2017-18)

The BMW R NineT Racer is a motorcycle with a four stroke, two cylinder horizontally opposed Boxer engine, with a capacity of 1170 cc. It has a compression ratio of 12.0:1, and is cooled by air and oil. The bike features electronic intake pipe injection and digital engine management with overrun cutoff, twin-spark ignition and is controlled under EU-4 emission standards. The R NineT Racer has a four-part frame concept with front frame and three-part rear frame, load-bearing engine-gearbox unit, rear-seat frame removable for one-up riding; upside-down telescopic forks, 46 mm fixed-fork-tube diameter for front suspension; and cast aluminium single swinging arm with BMW Motorrad Paralever, central spring strut and fully adjustable spring preload by hook wrench for rear suspension. The bike is equipped with BMW Motorrad ABS, and has 2 x 320 mm Foating brake discs, 4 piston radial calipers for front brakes, and a single 265 mm disc, 2 piston floating caliper for rear brakes. It has a 17-litre fuel capacity and a dry weight of 211 kg / 465 lbs or a wet weight of 219 kg / 482.8 lbs. The seat height of the bike is 805 mm / 31.7 in unladen and the wheelbase is 1487 mm / 58.4 in.
