BMW R 1250RT Elegance (2019)

The BMW R 1250RT Elegance motorcycle was introduced in 2019 and features a four-stroke, two-cylinder horizontally opposed Boxer engine with a capacity of 1254cc. The engine has two overhead spur gear-driven camshafts, a counterbalance shaft, and a variable intake camshaft control system. It uses electronic intake pipe injection and has a wet clutch with an anti-hopping function that’s hydraulically activated. The bike has a constant mesh six-speed gearbox with a helical gearing system and a shaft final drive. The frame is a two-section concept that consists of a main frame with a bolt-on rear frame that’s load-bearing. The BMW Motorrad 37mm Telelever suspension is featured on the front, while the rear has cast aluminium single-sided swing arm with BMW Motorrad Paralever. The bike has ABS system, disengageable BMW Motorrad Integral ABS, and die-cast aluminium wheels. It comes with a fuel capacity of 25 litres and a permitted total weight of 505 kg. The bike has a wet weight of 279 kg and seat height can be adjusted to either 805 mm to 825 mm or 760 mm to 850 mm.
