The Beta RR 400 Enduro is a four-stroke, single-cylinder, DOHC, 398cc motorcycle with a compression ratio of 11.0:1. It has a forced lubrication system with two oil pumps, air cooling, and a Keihin FCR-MX 39 induction system. The DC-CDI ignition has variable timing, and it can be started with both an electric and kick starter. The six-speed transmission and chain final drive are standard, with a molybdenum steel frame that includes a double cradle split above the exhaust port.
