Beta RR 250 Enduro (2005-06)

The Beta RR 250 Enduro is a motorcycle produced in 2005-06 with a four-stroke, single-cylinder, DOHC, 4-valve engine with a capacity of 250cc/15.3 cu in. It has a compression ratio of 12.0:1 and uses a forced lubrication system with 2 oil pumps. The bike is cooled by air and features a Keihin FCR-MX 37 carburetor for induction. The ignition system is a DC-CDI without trembler with variable ignition timing, Kokusan type, and uses an NGK DCPR 8 E spark plug. The bike can be started with an electric or kick start and has a wet, multiplate clutch with a 6-speed transmission and a chain final drive. The primary drive ratio is 33/76. The frame is made of molybdenum steel with double cradle split above the exhaust port and has a 26.5-degree rake and 108.5 mm/4.3 in trail. The front suspension is a Marzocchi hydraulic USD fork with 45 mm diameter and 290 mm/11.4 in wheel travel while the rear suspension is a monoshock with progressive compound lever and 300 mm/11.8 in wheel travel. The front and rear brakes are respectively a single 255 mm disc with two floating piston calipers and a single 240 mm disc with one floating piston caliper. The wheels are made of alloy with laced spokes and sizes 1.60 x 21 for the front and 2.15 x 18 for the rear. The tyres are 90/90 -21 for the front and 140/80 -18 for the rear. The seat height is 940 mm/37 in with a ground clearance of 320 mm/12.6 in and a dry weight of 117.5 kg/259 lbs. The fuel capacity is 8.5 L/2.2 US gal with a 1.0 L/0.3 US gal fuel reserve.
