Ariel Ace (2015)
Ariel Ace, a limited-edition motorcycle released in 2015. The motorbike was designed in collaboration with design and engineering firm, Xenophya Design, and was built by Surrey-based bespoke motorcycle builders at Harris Performance.
The Ariel Ace featured a bespoke frame, high-end suspension components, and a hand-built engine. The motorbike was powered by a 1237cc four-cylinder engine that produced 173hp and 131Nm of torque. The engine was coupled with a six-speed gearbox and featured a wet multiplate slipper clutch.
The motorcycle weighed just 225kg and boasted a top speed of around 165mph. The Ariel Ace’s styling took inspiration from the café racer and naked sport segments, and featured a retro-modern design with a minimalist, streamlined silhouette.
The motorbike came equipped with premium components, including Öhlins suspension, Brembo brakes, and a lightweight carbon-fiber bodywork. The Ace also featured LED lighting, a digital instrument cluster, and a keyless ignition system.
Only 10 examples of the Ariel Ace were produced, all of which were sold exclusively through luxury British department store Harrods. Priced at £50,000 ($63,500), the limited-edition motorbike was designed for discerning collectors and enthusiasts who valued exclusivity and originality.
Overall, the Ariel Ace was a high-performance motorcycle that combined modern engineering with classic design elements to create a unique and unforgettable riding experience.
