In 1984, Aprilia released the Tuareg 125, a two stroke, single cylinder motorcycle with a liquid cooled engine and a capacity of 124 cc. With a compression ratio of 15.5:1 and a maximum power of 18.6 kW/25 hp at 9000 RPM, this bike had a six speed transmission and a final chain drive. The front suspension was a telescopic fork, and the rear suspension was a mono shock. The front brakes consisted of a single disc, while the rear brakes were drum. The front and rear tires were 2.75-21 and 4.60-17, respectively. The Aprilia Tuareg 125 weighed 120 kg/265 lbs and had a fuel capacity of 18 litres/7.6 US gallons.
