The Aprilia SXV 450, released in 2010-11, is a four-stroke motorcycle with a 77-degree V-twin engine and a capacity of 449cc. It has a compression ratio of 12.5:1 and is liquid-cooled with a dry sump and external oil tank. It has an integrated engine management system controlling ignition and fuel injection with a throttle body of about 38mm. The clutch is cable-operated and multi-plate wet. It has a maximum power output of 60hp at 13,000rpm and is equipped with a five-speed transmission and a chain final drive. The steel perimeter frame has alloy vertical members and a front suspension of about 48mm upside-down fork with double adjustment, while the rear suspension includes a box section aluminum swing arm with a cast body and a hydraulic monoshock with compression and rebound adjustment. It has a single ~A320mm disc with a four-piston caliper for the front brakes and a single ~A240mm disc with a two-piston caliper for the rear brakes. The front and rear tire sizes are 120/70-17 and 180/55-17, respectively.
