Aprilia SL Shiver 750 (2011)

The Aprilia SL Shiver 750 motorcycle was released in 2011 and features a four-stroke longitudinal 90 degree V-twin engine with a capacity of 749 cc. The cooling system is liquid cooled and the compression ratio is 11.0:1. The Shiver 750 uses an integrated engine management system, injection with Ride by Wire technology, and two spark plugs per cylinder. The maximum power output is 69.3 kW at 9000 rpm, with a maximum torque of 81 Nm at 7000 rpm. The transmission is a six-speed with a chain final drive. The frame is a dismountable steel trellis connected with high-strength bolts to aluminum side plates. The front suspension is a 43mm upside-down fork, and the rear suspension is an aluminum alloy swingarm with a hydraulic shock absorber that is adjustable in spring preload and rebound damping. The braking system uses a two-piston caliper on a single ~A245mm disc in the rear and a four-piston caliper on two ~A320mm discs in the front. The bike has a 15-liter fuel capacity and averages 5.1 L/100 km fuel consumption. The standing 1/4 mile time is 12.3 seconds with a top speed of 224.3 km/h.
