Aprilia RSV 4R APRC (2012)

The Aprilia RSV-4 APRC / ABS motorcycle was released in 2012 and has a four-stroke, longitudinal 65 degrees V four engine with a capacity of 999.1 cc. It has a liquid cooling system and a 13.0:1 compression ratio. The ignition is electronic and the starting mechanism is electric. The motorcycle has a 6-speed transmission and a chain final drive. The Traction management APRC System includes Traction Control (ATC), Wheelie Control (AWC), and Launch Control (ALC), which can all be configured and deactivated independently. The frame is a twin-spar adjustable aluminium frame and the front suspension is an upside-down Sachs fork with 43 mm stanchions. The front brakes are two 320 mm diameter floating stainless steel discs with Brembo monobloc radial calipers. The rear brakes have a single 220 mm diameter disc with Brembo floating caliper. The overall length of the motorcycle is 2040 mm and the dry weight is 182 kg. The fuel capacity is 17 liters with a fuel reserve of 4 liters. The motorcycle has a choice of three different engine maps selectable by the rider with bike in motion: T (Track), S (Sport), and R (Road). The Magneti Marelli digital electronic ignition system is integrated in the engine control system, with one spark plug per cylinder and “stick-coil”-type coils.
