Aprilia RSV 4 R (2010)

The Aprilia RSV 4R is a 2010 motorcycle with a four-stroke, longitudinal V4 engine with a capacity of 998.9 cc. It has four valves per cylinder and a compression ratio of 13.0:1. The bike has a liquid cooling system, variable height intake trumpets, and four throttle bodies with eight injectors and ride-by-wire fuel management. The ignition is electronic digital, and the starting method is electric. The bike’s lubrication system is wet sump with two pumps, and it has a cassette type clutch.

The Aprilia RSV 4R can produce a maximum power of 132 kW at 12500 rpm and a maximum torque of 115 Nm at 10000 rpm. It has a six-speed cassette type gearbox with Aprilia Quick Shift electronic system for smooth shifting. The final drive is via chain with a drive ratio of 42/16 (2.625). The bike features an aluminum dual spar frame with Sachs steering damper, upside-down Showa fork with ~A43 mm stanchions, and a double braced aluminum swingarm with Sachs piggyback monoshock.

The bike’s front brakes consist of two lightweight stainless steel floating discs that measure approximately A320mm, Brembo monobloc radial calipers with four opposed pistons, sintered pads, a radial master cylinder, and a metal braided brake line for improved performance. The bike has a modern look with aerodynamic side intakes, a single lateral silencer, and an integrated exhaust valve and catalytic converter. The RSV 4R has 120 mm of front wheel travel and 130 mm of rear wheel travel. It also has completely adjustable spring preload, wheelbase, hydraulic compression, and rebound damping.
