The Aprilia RSV 1000 Mille R is a sports motorcycle built in 2000. It has a four-stroke, longitudinal 60 degrees V twin engine with a capacity of 997.6cc and a maximum power output of 133.2hp at 9500 rpm. It features fuel injection, liquid cooling, and has a compression ratio of 11.4:1. The bike has a six-speed transmission, a chain final drive, and a claimed horsepower-assisted hydraulic control clutch. The front suspension consists of an upside-down Ohlins fork with 43mm titanium nitride treated sleeves, while the rear suspension has a swing arm in aluminium alloy with a progressive linkage and an Ohlins Racing hydraulic shock absorber. The front brakes are two 320mm discs with four-piston calipers from Brembo Gold series with a single 220mm disc and two-piston caliper at the back. The bike’s top speed is 274km/h, and it can reach a quarter-mile time of 10.6 sec. The Aprilia RSV also boasts of having a fuel capacity of 20 L and has a dry weight of 183 kg.
