The Aprilia RS 125 R (2009) is a single cylinder, two-stroke motorcycle with a capacity of 124.8cc. It has a bore x stroke of 54 x 54.5mm and a compression ratio of 12.5:1. The bike is liquid cooled and has separate mixing with a volumetric pump for lubrication. It also features a Dell’Orto PHBH 28 carburetor and CDI electronic ignition. The transmission is six-speed with a wet, multi-disc clutch and chain final drive. The frame is made of cast aluminum with a reinforced box section and a sloping twin-spar frame. The front suspension is upside-down forks, 40mm with 120 mm / 4.7 in front wheel travel.
