Aprilia ETV 1000 Caponord (2005)

The Aprilia ETV 1000 Caponord from 2005 is a motorcycle with a four-stroke, longitudinal 60 degrees V-twin engine. The engine has DOHC and four valves per cylinder with a capacity of 997.6 cc or 60.9 cu in. The bore and stroke of the engine is 97 x 67.5 mm with a compression ratio of 10.4:1. The lubrication system is a wet sump with synthetic 15-50 engine oil. The fuel system is a fuel injection with digital electronic and two spark plugs per cylinder. The front suspension is a Marzocchi hydraulic fork with ~A50 mm and the front wheel travel is 175 mm or 6.9 in. The rear suspension is an aluminium alloy swing arm with progressive linkage with a Sachs hydraulic shock absorber that is rebound and preload adjustable. The rear wheel travel is 185 mm or 7.3 in.
