Aprilia Dorsoduro 900 (2017-18)

The Aprilia SMV 900 Dorsoduro is a motorcycle that was produced from 2017 to 2018. It features a four-stroke, longitudinal 90 degrees V-twin engine with a capacity of 896.1 cc. Its 100% stainless steel 2-in-1 exhaust system includes a three-way catalytic converter and an oxygen sensor. The bike’s engine management system integrates injection with 3-map ride-by-wire throttle valve opening management system, with the rider able to switch between Sport, Touring and Rain modes. The maximum power output of the Dorsoduro is 70.0 kW / 95.2 hp at 8750 rpm, and it has a compression ratio of 11.0:1.

The bike’s frame is a modular tubular steel frame, fastened to aluminum side plates by high-strength bolts. The bike’s front suspension features upside-down fork, while the rear suspension is an aluminum alloy swingarm with hydraulic shock absorber.

The front brakes are two stainless floating discs, measuring 320mm each, with radial, four-piston callipers, while the rear brake is a single 240mm disc with a single piston calliper. The bike’s wheels are made of aluminum alloy, with the front wheel measuring 3.5 x 17 and the rear wheel measuring 6.00 x 17, and are complemented by 120/70 ZR17 front tyres and 180/55 ZR17 rear tyres. The Dorsoduro has a dry weight of 186kg and can hold up to 12 litres (3.17 US gal) of fuel.
