Aprilia Atlantic 500 Sprint (2002-06)

The Aprilia Atlantic 500 Sprint motorcycle was produced from 2002-06. It boasts a four-stroke, single cylinder, SOHC engine with a capacity of 460 cc and a compression ratio of 10.5:1. This liquid-cooled motorcycle features electronic fuel injection and starts with an electric system. The max power is 27.5 kW / 37.4 hp @ 6750 rpm and max torque is 42 Nm / 4.3 kgf-m / 31.0 lb-ft @ 5500 rpm. The transmission is automatic with continuous variator, and the final drive is a V-belt. The frame is a high-strength tubular steel frame with superimposed closed double cradle. The front suspension is hydraulic fork, ~A35 mm with a front wheel travel of 105 mm / 4.1 in. The rear suspension features the engine acting as swingarm, two gas-filled shock absorbers with 5 position spring preload adjustment, and a rear wheel travel of 90 mm / 3.5 in. The front brakes include 2 x ~A260 mm disc, 3 piston calipers, while the rear brakes are a single ~A220 mm disc, 2 piston caliper. The wheels are made of aluminium alloy with 5 spokes, with the front tyre being 120/70 -14 and the rear tyre being 140/60 -14.
