The Aprilia 125 Chopper was a single-cylinder, two-stroke motorcycle produced in 1995 and 1996 by Italian manufacturer Aprilia. It had a liquid-cooled engine with a capacity of 124.8cc and a compression ratio of 12.5:1. The bike used a Dell’Orto PHBH 28 RD carburetor for induction and CDI for ignition, and had a maximum power output of 11.2 kW (15 hp) at 6600 rpm and a maximum torque of 12.7 Nm (9.4 lb-ft) at 6500 rpm. It had a six-speed transmission with a chain final drive and a primary ratio of 19:63. The bike’s frame was a double open cradle with a 33-degree rake and 98mm (3.9in) of trail. Its suspension included a telescopic fork up front and two hydraulic shock absorbers at the rear, and it had a front disc brake and rear drum brake. The bike’s dimensions were 2300mm (90.6in) in length, 780mm (30.7in) in width, and 1120mm (44.1in) in height, with a wheelbase of 1550mm (61.0in) and a wet weight of 148kg (326lbs). The bike had a fuel capacity of 10 liters (2.6 US gal) and a fuel consumption rate of 2.8 L/100 km (35.2 km/l) with a top speed of 114 km/h (70.8 mph).
