The Aermacchi/Harley Davidson SXT 250 motorcycle was produced in 1975 and had a two-stroke, single-cylinder engine with a capacity of 242.6cc. It had a compression ratio of 10.3:1 and used a 32mm Dell’Orto carburetor for induction. The maximum power output was 20hp at 7000rpm and it had a 5-speed transmission with a chain final drive. The front suspension used an oil-damper Ceriant telescopic fork and the rear suspension was a pivoted fork with Betor dampers and 3-way adjustment. The front brake was a single disc and the rear brake was a drum. The motorcycle had a wet weight of 129kg and a fuel capacity of 10.5 litres or 2.7 US gallons.
