Kawasaki GPZ550 (1983-84)

The Kawasaki GPz 550/Z 550GP was produced from 1983 to 1984 and had a four-stroke, transverse, four-cylinder engine with DOHC and two valves per cylinder. The engine has a capacity of 553cc and a compression ratio of 10.0:1. The bike features 4x 22mm Teikei constant vacuum – main jets #94, CDI ignition, and an electric starter. It has a maximum power output of 65 hp at 9000 rpm and maximum torque of 35.5 lb-ft at 8000 rpm. The clutch is a wet multiplate type and the bike has a six-speed transmission with a final drive of #530 O-ring chain. The standing quarter-mile time is 13.0 seconds at 102 mph.
