Kawasaki Versys (2009-10)

The Kawasaki KLE 650 Versys was made in the period from 2009-10 with a four-stroke, parallel twin engine featuring DOHC and four valves per cylinder. The 650cc bike had a liquid cooled system with a compression ratio of 10.6:1 and fuel injection. The bike featured electric starting with a six-speed transmission and chain final drive. Made with a diamond high-tensile steel frame, it featured a 41 mm inverted telescopic fork with stepless adjustable rebound damping and adjustable preload front suspension, and an offset laydown single-shock with adjustable rebound damping and adjustable preload rear suspension. With 2x 300mm discs with 2 piston calipers the front brake system of the bike was powerful, while the rear brake system had a single 220mm disc with 1 piston caliper. The elongated bike was 2126mm long, 840mm wide and 1315.7mm high with a wheelbase of 1415mm. This motorcycle had a seat height of 840mm and a dry weight of 181kg with a fuel capacity of 19 liters. The bike had a top speed of 197 km/h and consumed an average of 19.3 km per liter of fuel. The standing 1/4 mile time for the bike was 13.1 seconds with a speed of 160.4 km/h, and the 1000m standing time was 25.7 seconds with a speed of 178.2 km/h.
