Yamaha R1 1998 (1998)

The Yamaha YZF1000 R1 was a four-stroke, transverse four-cylinder motorcycle with a capacity of 998cc. The engine had a bore x stroke of 74 x 58mm and a compression ratio of 11.8:1, and was cooled by a liquid system with lubrication from a wet sump. The exhaust featured an alloy muffler, and the induction used 4 x 40mm Mikuni CV downdraft carburetors.
