Kawasaki AR125 (1982-83)

The Kawasaki AR125 was a motorcycle produced between 1982 and 1983. The bike was powered by a two-stroke, single cylinder, disc valve engine with a capacity of 124 cc, and had a liquid cooling system. It had a compression ratio of 6.5:1 and an induction system of 24mm Mikuni carburetor with a capacitor discharge ignition system. The bike had a maximum power of 22 hp at 9500 rpm and a maximum torque of 1.7 kgf-m at 8000 rpm. It had a 6-speed transmission and a chain final drive.

The front suspension was a 30mm leading telescopic type, whereas the rear suspension was a rising rate Uni-trek linkage with a 5-way preload system. The front brakes consisted of a single 232mm disc with a 1-piston caliper while the rear brakes were a 130 drum type. The dry weight of the bike was 107kg, and it had a fuel capacity of 11.5 litres with an average consumption of 66mpg. The standing 1/4 mile time of the bike was 18.4 seconds, with a top speed of 75mph.
