Velocette LE MK3 (1958-71)

The Velocette LE MK3 was a motorcycle produced from 1958-1971. It had a four-stroke, flat twin-cylinder engine with a capacity of 192cc and a compression ratio of 7:1. The cooling system was water-cooled and lubrication was through a wet sump. The carburetor used was an Amal 363 monobloc and the ignition was through coil. The bike had a dry, three-plate clutch and a 4-speed transmission with a shaft final drive. The frame was made of pressed steel and the bike measured 2083mm in length and 635mm in width.
