The Honda XR 250L was a motorcycle model manufactured in 1993-94 with a four-stroke, single cylinder SOHC, 4 valve engine with a capacity of 249cc / 15.1 cu-in. The compression ratio was 9.3:1, and it had an air-cooled cooling system. The ignition system used was CDI with a 30 mm Keihin induction system, and the engine was able to generate 30 hp / 21.9 kW @ 9000 rpm and 24.5 Nm / 18.7 ft-lbs of torque @ 7500 rpm.

The Honda XR 250L had a 6-speed transmission with a chain final drive. It had a single cylinder engine with a capacity of 493 cc and was equipped with a side valve, single exhaust port, and a downdraught TT carburetor. The bore x stroke was 80 x 98 mm and it was air-cooled. It also had a kick start and a 4-speed transmission with a final drive chain. The frame was a duplex cradle made of steel and the front suspension was a Druid-pattern girder fork.
