The 1996 Kawasaki ZX-9R Ninja is a powerful sportbike with a 899cc four-stroke, transverse four-cylinder engine featuring four valves per cylinder and a liquid cooling system. It has a compression ratio of 11.5:1 and runs on four 40mm Keihin CVKD carburetors, with digital ignition and Kawasaki Throttle Responsive Ignition Control (K-TRIC) for smooth starting. The MV Agusta 750 Sport America motorcycle was produced from 1975-77 and had a four stroke, transverse four cylinder DOHC engine with a capacity of 787.7cc. It had a compression ratio of 9.5:1 and was air cooled. The ignition was set up with a distributor and starting was electric. The maximum power of the bike was 75hp at 8500 rpm. The clutch was multiple discs in oil bath and it had a 5-speed transmission with a shaft final drive. The frame was made of tubular steel and the front suspension was 35mm Ceriani telescopic forks.
