The KTM RC8 Racing Kit was released in 2008 and was designed to transform the already impressive KTM RC8 motorcycle into a full-fledged racing machine. The kit included a range of components, including a full race exhaust system, racing camshafts, a revised ECU and a high-performance air filter, all of which were intended to improve power output and throttle response.

In addition to the engine upgrades, the Racing Kit also included a number of suspension and chassis components, such as fully adjustable racing forks, a racing shock absorber, adjustable rearsets and a lightweight racing battery. The kit even came with a set of lightweight Marchesini wheels to further reduce unsprung weight and improve handling characteristics.

The RC8 Racing Kit was designed to be fully compliant with all FIM Superstock regulations, allowing it to be raced in a variety of professional racing series. The kit was only available for a limited time and was specifically intended for use by serious racers and teams, rather than casual riders or enthusiasts.

Overall, the KTM RC8 Racing Kit represented a significant upgrade over the already impressive KTM RC8 motorcycle, and was a popular choice among professional racers and teams looking to gain an edge on the competition. While the kit may no longer be available, the legacy of the RC8 Racing Kit continues to live on through its performance and racing success.
