The Honda GL1000 Gold Wing LTD motorcycle was produced in 1976 and had a four stroke, opposed boxer four-cylinder engine with a capacity of 999 cc. It had a compression ratio of 9.2:1 and was liquid-cooled with four Keihin carbs. The maximum power output was 78 hp at 7000 rpm and maximum torque was 83 Nm at 5500 rpm. The transmission had five speeds and the drive was shaft. Suspension featured a telescopic fork in the front and a swing arm with twin shocks at the rear. Brakes included two 232mm discs with two piston calipers in the front and one 250mm disc with a single piston caliper at the rear.
