The Maico M150 motorcycle was produced in 1950 and powered by a single cylinder, two-stroke, 143 cc engine with a maximum power output of 4.8 kW/6.5 hp. Lubrication was done through an oil bath and the fuel system included a Bing carburetor with an oil/fuel mixture of 1:25. The ignition was a 6-volt Noris alternator with battery ignition, and the motorcycle started via kick. The transmission was a 3-speed manual with a final drive chain. The frame was a double closed tube, and the front suspension had twin shocks while the rear suspension had a swing arm with twin springs.
