The AC Schnitzer K 1200RS motorcycle was produced in 2005 with a four-stroke, horizontal in-line four cylinder, liquid cooled, DOHC engine with 4 valves per cylinder. It had a capacity of 1171 cc and a compression ratio of 11.5:1. It ran on fuel injection with an ignition MA 2.4 Bosch Motronic system and had an electric starting feature.

With a maximum power output of 96.9 kW / 130 hp at 8750 rpm and a maximum torque of 117 Nm / 11.93 kgf-m / 86.3 lb-ft at 6750 rpm, the bike used a 5-speed transmission and had a final drive through the shaft system.
