The BMW R 60/2 with Sidecar was produced from 1960-69 with a four stroke, two cylinder horizontally opposed Boxer engine. It had a capacity of 594 cc and a compression ratio of 7.5:1. The ignition was battery-powered and the transmission was a 4-speed with a single plate, saucer spring, dry clutch.
