The Velocette LE MKII motorcycle was produced between 1950 and 1958. It was equipped with a four-stroke, flat twin cylinder engine with a capacity of 192cc and a compression ratio of 6:1. The bike had a water-cooled cooling system, a wet sump lubrication system, and an Amal 363 monobloc carburetor. Its ignition was powered by a coil, while its battery was a 6V, 42W unit. The bike had a pull handle starting system and could produce 5.9 kW of power at 5000 rpm. The three-speed transmission was paired with a dry, three-plate clutch and a shaft final drive. The frame was made of pressed steel, and it had spoked wheels, telescopic fork front suspension, and dual coil springs and spring loaded seat rear suspension. The motorcycle had a front 5 x 0.75in diameter offset drum brake, later increased to 1″, and a rear drum brake with identical specs. The Maico Mobil was a motorcycle produced from 1950 to 1958. It was equipped with a single cylinder, two stroke engine and came in three different capacities ranging from 149 cc to 197 cc. The cooling system consisted of air cooling, and the oil/fuel mixture was 1:24. It had a single exhaust and was equipped with a Bing carburetor. The bike was started by a kick start mechanism and had a maximum power output of 8.1 kW/11 hp at 5000 rpm for the 200 cc model. The clutch was a wet, cable operated system, and it had a 4-speed transmission with a chain final drive. The frame was a tubular space frame with bolted steel and aluminium body panels. The front suspension was a telescopic fork with a steering damper while the rear suspension was a swingarm with coil springs and dampers.
