The Velocette MAC was a post-war motorcycle produced from 1946 to 1959, with 25,000 units manufactured. It featured a four stroke, single cylinder, OHV engine with a capacity of 349 cc, producing 11 kW / 15 hp at 6300 rpm. The bike had a three-plate clutch and four-speed transmission, with a final drive chain. It had a single top and front down tube and twin tube cradle frame, with pre-war Webb girder style front suspension, and post-war air-sprung Dowty Oleomatic forks. The Triumph Tiger 100 was a motorcycle produced from 1946 to 1959, featuring a four-stroke, parallel twin engine with a capacity of 498cc. The bike had a compression ratio of 7.6:1 and a maximum power output of 32 hp at 6500 rpm. The frame was a brazed lug, full cradle, rigid design with a wet, multi-plate clutch and a 4-speed transmission. The final drive was a chain and the gear ratios were 1st 12.20, 2nd 8.45, 3rd 5.95, and 4th 5.00:1.
