The Suzuki GS 400 manufactured during the years 1976-77 had a four-stroke, parallel twin-cylinder engine with a capacity of 398 cc. Its cooling system was air-cooled with a compression ratio of 9:1. Its maximum power was 25.4 kW at 8000 rpm and maximum torque was 30 Nm at 7000 rpm.
