The Paton 500 V70 (C9/C10) motorcycle was produced in 1994-95 with a 4 Cylinder, 2 stroke V70 engine, 498.3cc capacity and 14:1 compression ratio. It had a digital CDI ignition with battery and push start, along with a dry, multiplate clutch. The C09 version had a maximum power of 110 kW / 150 hp @ 12000 rpm while the C10 version had 121 kW / 165 hp @ 12000 rpm. The motorcycle had a 6 speed constant mesh transmission with a chain final drive, and a sloping twin-spar aluminum frame with a wheelbase of 1385mm / 54.5in. The front suspension was an ~Ahlins upside-down, 42mm fully adjustable with an ~Ahlins fully adjustable rear suspension. The brakes were double disc, carbon, 4-piston Brembo caliper in the front and a single disc with 2-piston Brembo caliper in the rear, with Marvic wheels and 120/60-17 and 180/67-17 tires. The bike weighed 135kg / 298lbs and was available in Racing Green.
