Norton Commando 750 Hi (1971-72)

The Norton Commando 750 Hi-Rider was produced between 1971 and 1972. It featured a four-stroke, parallel twin-cylinder engine with a capacity of 745cc and a compression ratio of 9.0:1. The bike was air-cooled, with 2 x ~A30mm Amal concentric carburetors and a 12V alternator. It had a kick-start system and could produce a maximum power of 58 hp/43 kW at 6800 rpm. The transmission was a 4-speed, and the final drive was via chain. The front suspension consisted of telescopic forks, while the rear suspension had dual shocks that were 5-way adjustable.
