The MV Agusta 83 Ottantatrè Sport was produced from 1958-60, with around 370 units made. The motorcycle had a four stroke, single cylinder, pushrod engine with a capacity of 83.2cc and a bore x stroke of 46.5 x 49 mm. It had a compression ratio of 7.5:1, a 15mm carburettor for induction, and a wet sump for lubrication. The maximum power output was 3.1 kW/4.2hp at 6000 rpm.
