KTM 950 Duke (2003)

The KTM 950 Duke Concept motorcycle was released in 2003 and featured a four-stroke 75-degree V-twin cylinder engine with a capacity of 942cc. With 11.5:1 compression and liquid cooling, this bike could reach a maximum power of 106 hp at 9500 rpm and maximum torque of 9 km-g at 7000 rpm. The engine was lubricated by pressure lubrication with 2 Eaton pumps using synthetic 15w-50 oil. Induction was via 2x 43mm Keihin constant pressure, and ignition was provided by a Denso battery ignition. The bike was equipped with a six-speed transmission and chain final drive. The front suspension was a 48mm WP upside-down fork adjustable with 135mm of travel while the rear suspension was a WP shock fully adjustable with 160mm of travel. The bike was fitted with 2x 320mm discs and four-piston calipers for the front brakes while the rear brakes were single 240mm discs with one-piston calipers. The bike’s dry weight was 179 kg, and it had a fuel capacity of 17 liters.
