Kawasaki ZZR1400 (2006)

The Kawasaki ZZR1400 (ZX-14) is a high-performance motorcycle produced in 2006, with a four-stroke, transverse four-cylinder, DOHC engine with a capacity of 1441 cc. It has a bore and stroke of 84 x 65 mm, a compression ratio of 12.3:1, and is liquid-cooled with a wet sump lubrication system. The DFI (R) system with four 44mm Mikuni throttle bodies and TCBI with digital advance system is used for its ignition, which can start with an electric motor.

It has a maximum power output of 187 horsepower at 9500 RPM, which increases to 197 horsepower at 9500 RPM with the use of the Ram Air system, and a maximum torque of 136 Nm at 7500 RPM. The Kawasaki ZZR1400 (ZX-14) has a wet, multiple discs, hydraulic clutch, and a 6-speed transmission with an X-Ring chain final drive. The frame is made of aluminum and has a monocoque design.
