Kawasaki Z1000LTD (1980-82)

The Kawasaki Z 1000LTD was a motorcycle produced from 1980 to 1982. The bike was equipped with a four stroke, transverse four cylinder engine with a capacity of 998 cc. The maximum power output was 95 hp at 8500 rpm and the maximum torque was 83.2 Nm at 6500 rpm. The bike’s compression ratio was 9.2:1 and it was fitted with 4x 34mm Mikuni carburetors and CDI ignition. The Z 1000LTD had a 5-speed transmission and final drive via chain. The bike’s suspension consisted of telehydraulic forks at the front and swinging arm forks with adjustable shocks at the rear. The front brakes were two discs and the rear brake was a single disc.
