The Kawasaki GPX 250R (1990-1992) motorcycle had a four-stroke parallel twin engine with a 248 cc capacity and a cooling system of liquid-cooled. The bike had a tubular diamond design frame and a telescopic fork front suspension with a wheel travel of 140mm/5.5in and a UNI-TRAK single shock rear suspension with a wheel travel of 130mm/5.1in. The front and rear brakes were single 260mm and 230mm discs respectively. The bike had a 6-speed manual transmission and a wet, multi-disc, manual, cable-actuated clutch.
