Honda NSR 125F (1992-93)
The Honda NSR 125F Raiden was a two-stroke motorcycle with a liquid-cooled, single cylinder engine and a capacity of 124.7 cc. It had a compression ratio of 7.0:1 and used a 28mm Dell’Orto PHBH 26 FS induction system with capacitor discharge electronic ignition. It had both electric and kick start options and could produce a maximum power of 12 hp at 9500 rpm and a maximum torque of 15 Nm at 8000 rpm. The bike used a multi-disc oil bath clutch and had a six speed transmission with a chain final drive. The NSR 125F Raiden had a double cradle tubular steel frame and 35mm telescopic forks for its front suspension, while its rear suspension was a pro-link rising rate with adjustable preload. The front and rear brakes were both two piston, with a single 320mm disc on the front and a single 220mm disc on the rear. Its tire sizes were 110/80-17 for the front and 130/70-17 for the rear. The bike weighed 125 kg and could carry up to 13 liters of fuel. In a Motosprint 1992 road test, the Honda NSR 125F Raiden was reviewed positively.
