Ducati 48/50 Brio (1963-67)

The Ducati 48/50 Brio is a two-stroke, single cylinder, piston port motorcycle that was produced from 1963 to 1967. It has a capacity of 47.6 cc and a compression ratio of 7.0:1. The engine is cooled by a fan and uses a Dell’Orto SHA 14/12 induction system. The ignition is a 6V 18W flywheel magneto and starting is done by a kick. The bike can produce a maximum power of 1.1 kW or 1.5 hp at 5200 rpm. It uses a wet, multiplate clutch and a three-speed transmission with a final drive chain. The frame is made of pressed steel and it has a swinging shackle fork on the front and a swingarm with dual rubber shocks on the rear.
