Ducati 1098R Gulf Endurance Racer (2008)

The Ducati 1098 R Gulf Endurance Racer is a motorcycle that was released in 2008. It features a four-stroke, 90-degree L twin-cylinder engine with desmodromic four valves per cylinder and a capacity of 1198cc. With a compression ratio of 12.8:1 and lubrication provided by a wet sump, the engine can produce a maximum power output of 180 horsepower at 9750 rpm and a torque of 134 Nm at 7750 rpm. The bike also comes with a Marelli electronic fuel injection system and a lightweight 2-1-2 exhaust system with twin stainless steel mufflers. The bike also features digital MotoGP-derived instruments with displays for speedometer, rev counter, lap times, time, air temp, coolant temp, battery voltage, A & B trips, fuel reserve trip, DTC level selected, and warning lights for neutral, turn signals, high-beam, rev-limit, DTC intervention, oil pressure, and fuel reserve. Standing acceleration tests showed that it can reach 0-100km/h in 3.2 seconds and has a top speed of 290 km/h. With a dry weight of 169kg and a fuel capacity of 15.5L, the bike is a powerful and sleek racing machine.
