The Zero FX 2015 motorcycle is equipped with a Type Z-Force (R) 75-5 passively air-cooled, high efficiency, radial flux permanent magnet, brushless motor and a high efficiency, 420 amp, 3-phase brushless controller with regenerative deceleration. The power pack of the motorcycle is a Z-Force Li-Ion intelligent modular that has a maximum capacity of 2.8kWh for the ZF 2.8 and 5.7kWh for the ZF 5.7.
