The Vespa LX 50 4T was manufactured from 2006-2012 with a four-stroke, single-cylinder, 4 valve, 49.3 cc engine with a compression ratio of 11.1:1. It has a wet pump, chain-driven trochoidal pump for lubrication and is air-cooled, forced for cooling. The ignition is electronic capacitive (CDI) and has a kick-start. The automatic, dry centrifugal clutch produces a max power of 3.1 kW / 4.3 hp @ 8500 rpm and max torque of 3.5 Nm / 0.4 kgf-m / 2.6 ft/lb @ 6500 rpm. The CVT has a torque server which provides the belt final drive.
