The Triumph TRX 75 Hurricane was produced from 1970 to 1972 and featured a transverse 3-cylinder engine with a capacity of 744 cc. It had a compression ratio of 9.0:1 and was equipped with three 27mm Amal carburetors. The motorcycle had a kick start and could generate a maximum power of 60 hp at 7250 rpm. Its transmission included 5 speeds and was chain-driven. The front and rear suspensions included telescopic forks and dual shocks, respectively, and the front and rear brakes were drums, measuring 203mm and 178mm respectively. The Triumph TRX 75 Hurricane also had a dry weight of 191 kg and a wet weight of 205 kg, with a fuel capacity of 10 liters. A road test of the Kawasaki HI versus the Triumph X-75 was conducted in Bike Magazine in 1974.
