The KTM 450 EXC is a four-stroke, single cylinder, SOHC, 447.9 cc motorcycle with a 11.1:1 compression ratio and Keihin MX FCR 39 carburetor. It features an electric and kick start, a wet multi-disc clutch with hydraulic operation, and a 6-speed transmission with final drive ratio of 14:52. The frame is a central tube chrome-moly-steel frame and it has WP 4860 MA upside-down fork front suspension and a WP-PDS shock absorber with aluminum swingarm rear suspension.
